Governance
Welcome to our Governors’ section
The Local Governing Body is made up of people from the local community. We include parents, people with business and professional experience and representatives of the Church.
Working together, we are responsible for the Catholic Life of the school and community links but not the day-to-day running of the school. That is the responsibility of the Headteacher and staff. We are responsible for supporting with monitoring activities in school and agreeing school policies and procedures.
Most importantly, we work with the Headteacher and staff acting as a ‘critical friend’, offering support, advice and – when needed – asking challenging questions to help the school achieve the very highest standards.
Please find below details of how our Governing body is structured, including the names, categories, responsibilities and terms of appointment for each Governor.
